“Learning starts in infancy, long before formal education begins, and continues throughout life. Early learning begets later learning and early success breeds later success, just as early failure breeds later failure.” (James J. Heckman)

Children have struggles in their lives. They are developing fast and going through many rapid changes. They may be coping with changes in their families, schools, colleges or neighborhoods as well. Many times they are not able to communicate well about the things that bother them to the people that love them. They become anxious, angry, or misbehave, and their parents become concerned and confused, uncertain how they can help them or whether the child needs professional help.

Wouldn't you like to experience the feeling of seeing your children thriving, growing, and feeling good about themselves and their behavior?

We offer counseling for children, parents, and families in a private, comfortable setting so that children can deal with their issues, thrive, and grow to their potential. Depending on the age of the child, we may use talk therapy, play therapy, family therapy, or a mixture of interventions.

Our Child Counselor works actively with parents and siblings, as well as other professionals involved with the family.

Do you feel like you need somebody to talk to?

Have you been thinking about seeking help or support for a while?

Many people like yourself seek a therapist or life coach out, rather than solely friends or family, for different reasons.

Some are worried they may be judged. Some don't think others necessarily "get" them.

Other people don't want to feel like they are burdening friends and family with their problems.

Perhaps you think friends and family have done their share of listening, and it's time for you to work with a professional.
